This site provides detailed information about the 388th Bomb Group's efforts during World War II.
In particular this provides detailed information on the 388th's combat missions. Every sortie flown is listed showing the crew, the aircraft, the mission and details about the sortie.
The most unusual aspect of this site is how related information is linked together allowing the user to "wander" through the entire database. Details are provided for each aircraft, each crew, each mission which reference each other. Every reference is a link to the detailed information for that item.

Coming Soon : This site is by no means complete and is still under construction. Rather than wait until all of the data has been collected, it was thought best to put the site up in its incomplete state. At least users could get some benefit from it and watch it as it grows.
